Please note that participating in the Singapore e-Journey and its sample quizzes via the home page of the Singapore Journey website (www.sgjourney.gov.sg) will not be considered as part of your SC Journey requirements.

After you have completed the SC Journey, ICA will send the approval letter notification to you when it is ready. We are unable to estimate how long this would take. Please note that if you have applied for Singapore citizenship as part of a family unit application, the approval letters of all applying members will only be sent after every member has completed the SC Journey.

 

Please do not renounce your foreign citizenship or surrender your foreign passport until you have received the approval letter from ICA. The letter will detail the next steps that you should take.

If you are wheelchair-bound or have limited mobility, please register for the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) SEV. All the activities in this SEV are within the vicinity of SDC and is wheelchair-friendly.

 

The other SEVs are not wheelchair-friendly and not recommended for persons with limited mobility as there is substantial walking and standing, and bus transfer between 2 venues.

We regret that our events cater only to the SC Journey participants. Participants are not allowed to bring along any guest including family member, who is not a SC Journey participant, to the event.

Extension requests without reason(s) and relevant supporting document(s) will not be considered.

If you have substantial reasons to expedite your SC Journey, you may email us at admin@sgjourney.gov.sg. Please provide the reason(s) and relevant supporting documents (e.g. documents showing your estimated delivery date, company letter indicating that you are leaving for your long-term overseas work assignment and the assignment period, overseas enrolment letter and academic calendar to show that you are leaving for overseas study, doctor’s memo on your medical condition, etc.). Requests without reason(s) and relevant supporting document(s) will not be considered.

 

We seek your understanding that any request to attend an event which the registration window has closed or has reached its capacity is considered on a case-by-case basis. The SC Journey Administrator will respond to you within 3 working days.

After doing so, your booking request will be assessed. If approved, your stage 2 SC Journey deadline may be extended accordingly and an email notification will be sent to you. You may also view the email notification in your SC Journey inbox (i.e. the mail icon next to “HELP” on desktop/laptop browser, or the top right corner on mobile browser).
